Iron Edit was inspired by generations of women rooted in a family-run auction company that has been part of the heavy equipment industry for decades. We grew up around sale days, long hours, and the fast-paced world of equipment auctions.

Working in this industry showed us firsthand how hard women work to balance professional responsibilities, outdoor environments, family life, and everything in between. Yet we struggled to find clothing that was both durable and feminine: pieces that could move from a workday at the auction yard to running errands in town or heading to Sunday service.
